Since many retailers offer organic, sustainable food items, Stone Barns wanted to stand a step above the rest with simple, eye-catching graphics that easily convey who they are as a brand. Hyper-local goods such as their eggs benefit from easy to identify packaging made from recycled materials.
A yearly event hosted by Stone Barns, the Harvest Fest, offers a chance for the community to come together on their property, learn, and have fun. We created event signage and promotional materials to spread the word with a modern, colorful flair.
The staff of Stone Barns need to stand out – we helped design an eye-catching, easy to spot t-shirt for the annual Harvest Fest.
We like giving our clients options – the various iterations we created for their locally grown honey packaging reflects the simplicity they desire without sacrificing visual branding identity.
Stone Barns recognizes that community members might want to start living more sustainable, environmentally-conscious lives but maybe aren’t sure where to start. This compost mixture takes the guesswork out of the process and stays true to their brand identity.
The small Stone Barns store creates a home-grown atmosphere – here you can see their compost mixture ready for purchase.
We are often inundated with mail, and keeping up with both email and snail mail means some things can get lost in the shuffle. The bright, colorful design of Stone Barns’ quarterly newsletter puts it miles ahead of those other brochures and keeps subscribers in the loop.
When Stone Barns needed to get the word out about their annual Harvest Fest event, we were part of their yearly planning to get the look and feel of the event just right. These campaign materials went out to hundreds of potential attendees and set the tone for this family-friendly, New England fall event.
Stone Barns scored a great partnership with Whole Foods and we wanted to celebrate that achieving while informing everyone of the benefits of partnering with a large distributor. Our design demonstrates this big step for Stone Barns and puts all the necessary information in one easy-to-read place.
Fundraising is often a vital part of local, sustainable businesses, and Stone Barns launched a campaign to gather donations to continue their mission. We designed the Give + Grow logo used for a large-scale mailing campaign and a website for electronic donations. A simple seedling design communicates that SB needs community engagement to grow and thrive.
Hand in hand with the self-guided tour is accurate, informative signage throughout the property. Colorful photos coupled with branded logo design achieves a uniform look across the board.

User experience is of paramount importance to JB Design, and we created this website for Stone Barns with UX in mind. From bright and airy photos to simple, intuitive navigation combined with the logos we created for SB, the website offers a single portal for followers to keep up with what’s new and noteworthy at Stone Barns.
Stone Barns’ website keep donors, customers, and visitors up to date on the happenings around the farm, in the community, and in conjunction with local and national partners. Animal photos combined with fresh farm colors and easy navigation make the website pop and invite users to come back time and again.
